It's so easy, and so tempting, to follow the crowd. For most of my life I was a follower, always trying to fit in so I could have friends (or not be thought of as weird)...and it was even more difficult to find *me* when I started homeschooling in 2000 because I wanted to be 'that successful homeschool mother over there'.<BR/>Three years ago I converted to the Catholic Church and so began my slow journey to acquaint myself with the Mother of Jesus. Along the way I found myself becoming unpopular with my old protestant friends, especially in my love for Mary. But she knew who she was, and I began to know who I was. I may not be the holiest person, but I'm not flippant in my faith either. I am happy with being me now, a Catholic homeschool mother/wife/nana.
